Rhino horn is fetching record prices on the black market. • Civil wars in Africa are wiping out once stable Rhino populations
Extensive Rhino habitat loss continues to occur. • Some African countries still allow hunting of Rhino.
In 2006 a sub species of Black Rhino went extinct. • 2009 saw the extinction of the Northern White Rhino in the wild. • The Javan & Sumatran Rhino are in imminent danger of Extinction.
