3 of the 5 Rhino species are now Critically Endangered

In some areas poaching is once again on the increase.

Rhino horn is  fetching record prices on the black market.

Civil wars in Africa are wiping out Rhino populations.

Extensive Rhino habitat loss continues to occur.

Some African countries still allow hunting of Rhino.

In 2006 a sub species of Black Rhino went extinct, more face the same fate.
